Are you working on climate change?
Are you curious to learn more about strategies to end up with usable knowledge?
Are you interested to gain new insights into barriers and opportunities to enhance the societal impact of research?
On June 17 I will facilitate a session on Interacting with users during a one-day workshop on Climate Knowledge Usability in Brussels.
In the workshop, European climate change researchers, boundary workers and policymakers bring together experiences and lessons learned. They will critically discuss strategies, tools and practices to bridge the usability gap of climate change research projects. The most appropriate approaches will be explored, taking into account the different context of science-driven and user-informed on the one hand, or user-driven and science-informed processes on the other.
Beside reflective sessions on on-going practices, tricks and practical guidelines will be shared, which will be summarized in a Climate Knowledge Usability Booklet, that will be developed on the basis of the workshop proceedings and made available for all workshop participants and current and future JPI Climate research teams.
